The first match of the IPL kicked off quite well with a very beautiful opening ceremony i guess it was nice i was not at home. Started early i just saw the end and the awesome fireworks.
Deccan chargers are the champions of 2009 played against the kolkata knight rider that came in 8 place last year. DC won the toss and chose to field was that a good thing or anyway cricket is so predictable at times.
Deccan chargers bowling and fielding was so good. Vaas from Sri Lanka he took a wicket the first ball of the match not long after that he took another wicket. I really thought KKR well make a very low score seeing that they got early wickets. But no, that does not happen in T20. Oasis Shah (England) he scored 50 Angelo Matthews he made 70 i think and that took KKR to 161-4 of 20 overs
When DC started to bat an Adam Gilchrist was just hitting and he made his 50 and he got out something Gibbs just hit few balls 6 and out and with saymons and rohit with a stupid hit then he was out. But KKR was just getting wickets at first i thought DC well still win but every thing turn's around and that did not work that way.
All Dc Batsmen where out and the bowlers where coming in and they where just losing balls and wickets where just falling. at the end of the 20 overs it was the Kolkata knight riders that won the first match of the IPL 2010.
Angelo Matthews was man of the match.
SRK must be so happy that his team won the opening match of the IPL. They got a good bowling coach Wasim Akram former Pakistan player.
