Moving back - 17 November 2009

Today the spoke and said that there is a possibility we can move back. They got clearance from the fire department. My office went to a meeting and she got same thing positive back that there the go head of moving back to the building.

Today every one felt like they where the first time they where thrown out the building, miserable so they where so glad at the end of this day that they going to move back so every one packed away there little things so we can just go fetch it tomorrow.

The switchboard operator that girl she working on my nerves every time i must go answer the phone and i got work i have to do. She was not there today don't know why, but i am not answering any phones tomorrow and there going to be reception to answer while she not there. I am not going to do her dirty work for her

Building shut over fire fears!!!

CITY authorities have shut down a privately owned Wynberg building because it says the owners have not complied with safety regulations. The building is use by several provincial government departments,including one that deals with child maintenance payments.

Two weeks ago,people working in building were barred from entering Maynard Plaza in Wynberg. The seven storey building houses the offices of the South African Social Security Agency, Department of Social Development and Department of Justice. The building was closed after an inspection by the fire and rescue services, which found it contravened the by law relating to community fire safety, including emergency exists routes, as well as the national building regulations.

The notice orders that fire escape doors mus be 'reinstated' on each floor; that push bar panic bolts must be replaced on all doors and emergency exits and fire extinguishers clearly marked. Pat Adams,director for the city's emergency services,said further inspections where being done and the building would be reopen once all safety requirements where met. Samantha Lambert, asset manager for landlord Redefine Properties, said every effort was made tomeet the regulations, and the council had to informed the company of the no compliance during the inspection on October 21

The following day, she said, the fire inspector had ordered tenants to vacate building.

break away - going back:)

Hey, every one so it's been 2 weeks out out of the office. Being where i am for this week was actually nice even thou it rain a lot. People complain but i like it you can see who coming and who going and everything was out doors. I like it because you see this person now that we are there in open than i do when we back at the office.

This displaced was actually good just to get a break away from the building and noise of taxi's and trains. It's so nice there you go out you see green grass, trees, Egyptian gees, birds chirping this going to be same thing i am going miss. It was boring but nice being there. First week was totally boring but this week was nice i spoke a lot to this lady i hardly see because she on 2rd floor. We going to miss one another the company i am sure of that

But i won't stop this blogger until i hear what is the go ahead.

Rainy day

It was raining the whole day 4 seasons in 1 day it rains hard then stops sunshine. I did put on my other files in the cabinet at least all that is done.

Just sat around and my friend ask me to go with them on saturday so i am going because they always asking me. so they ask me again then i said yes, let just see how it's going to be.

I was just sitting around until home time. There was nothing to do for the rest of the daybut watch the rain.

I walked to work and walked back home it's just a 15 minutes walk.

Maybe i walk again if it's not raining.

Un Settle

So it's day 2 of where our new work space is going to be. It's not in a building it's now everything out doors. We in different houses and if you must walk to get to same one who you want to see. And today it was raining and every one was just complaining. That must walk in the rain it's what they can do just complain and complain mourn and groun.

I did same work i pack in that files so i did samething for the day than sit around. About 11 am my friend came there to my place and she sat an i made her coffee. we where chatting was telling me about how her mother passed away. Out the blue i said my father took my mother to work so he can drop me and fetch me. Then she ask where my mother work so i said in Reatret by where i said DP Maria so she said don't lie so i said really she does work there why, so she said her boyfriend mother aslo works there. I was supprise also

Then i went down to her house it's far we where playing cards. I did not get it because it was slightly complicated but the office manager came down and told about the meeting but we took the cards away

things are getting in order

So today every one was a little settle, but most of them gave bad comments but i just ignore them i don't let them bother me i am there to do a job not to make other people happy.

I put in the files in the cabinet but not all is there. Then i was just sitting and getting tired. I work down today got no lift i don't want to ask any one for a lift and then the talks are the next day.

I took 15 minutes to walk down i wonder how long i well take to walk up tomorrow morning. Hope the same amount of time.

busy day

I went to work today. My father drooped me because it was raining. Then on Friday it was discuss they going to stay there for a year.they have to get as space. So it's a place of safety so they have houses all around but not so good condition. My supervisor got a office of a lady what coming back to work next month but her office is so neat and tidy nothing is moved so my surpervisor said no she can't work in same one else office.

So they got a small space but it's okay, we are with Registry. And every one one was cleaning and washing windows. But, we did not know what happen to the switch board operator did not pitch up today so i had to answer the calls but we just have one phone for us. The whole morning and i was tired so i went to have lunch and i did not answer the phone again.

Then i went to just sit with my friend we spoke little then she left and i went inside, went to the back came in again. Answer the phone went to the back again. when i came back it was home time and they where talking about how you access your mail from the internet so i just butt in an my friend just look at me and left. So i said http://webmail.pgwc.gov.za and i signed out and got a lift too my house

and that was my day
